Project: Landscape Garden, Gillingham, Dorset

Client: Mr & Mrs B

Architect: Kingsmere Surfacing

Product: Natural Indian Sand Stone Paving

Background

Mr & Mrs B had a new conservatory built, so needed to re-pave whole garden area/pathways, but wanted a natural looking product.

Design Brief

Our aim was to take away 5 sets of existing steps, level around property, but also use a product that would be hard wearing and natural looking.

Installation

We excavated 40 tonnes of sub soil/concrete, ready for installing sand stone. We used natural stone bricks to support paving and give a antique feel. We infilled sub base using an all stone type one aggregate, then laid natural Indian stone paving on a mortar mix. Once set we pointing in all joints using a white cement mortar to give a more natural finished look.
