Background
Mr & Mrs G had a new natural stone house built and needed a stylish but antique style block paving cobble set driveway.
Design Brief
Our aim was to build a hard wearing driveway and turning area, with an “oldie worldie” appearance to take into consideration.
Installation
Kingsmere Surfacing was responsible for installing form pave block paving in Chartres. We laid minimum 150mm of type one aggregate compacted. Then erected block pave edgings in concrete. Screed 1 – 6mm stone dust for stability and drainage, lay block paving then klim dry sand and compact to lock. Brush any surplus sand into any joints left showing.
