Project: St Michael’s Church, Mere

Client: Mr Graham Avery

Architect: Chris Romain

Product: Adtex Resin bonded aggregate

Background

Mere Church has gone a long overdue restoration, repairing. The footpaths was part of Kingsmere Surfacing Contract.

Design Brief

The aim was to create a safe non slip surface, for all ages to be able to walk safely in through the church yard. The Architect Mr Chris Romain, decided to use Adtex Resin bounded aggregate as a non slip with an attractive finish.

Installation

Kingsmere Surfacing was responsible for installing Adtex Resin bonded aggregate. Existing footpath had to be excavated and re-laid with an aggregate sub base, then weathered limstone edgings, supported in concrete as a retainer. Adtex Resin was laid onto new tarmacadam surface. Adtex installation can be carried out quickly and efficiently. Adtex has been developed to provide an attractive, highly durable solution that gives exceptional adhesion and is a long lasting contemporary approach to surfacing.
